Jesus came for everyone.
Men.
Women.
Everyone.
But that is not true.

For those who say “I see”,
He did not come;

To the sated
and self-important,

who need a Shepherd.

“Good enough”,
He did not come;
But for those who beg,
“Be merciful to me, the sinner.”

Hello, Anonymous. Thanks for the reply but I am confused by it. Perhaps you hit "send" too quickly? All that came across were two references in Romans. Could you clarify what you mean?

I agree with Anonymous, with a couple of exceptions.
Romans 3:10 --There is none righteous, not even one
Romans 3:23 -- for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
I must be asleep. I still don't see the connection to my post. Please elaborate.
I think Anon is saying that we all need Jesus, none of us don't; which is true. I think Jesus calls all of us, and we all need Him; the question is whether we realize we need Him or not.
Ahhh. Now that makes sense. Of course we all need Him. But too many think they don't. Or, they want to continue in their own rebellion, as the Lord said in John 3:19-20.
